CRAWL: Through the Gaze of a Navel
VENUE: YOGAthletix, 911 Queen St. E
Created by Emelia Symington Fedy and Anita Rochon from The Chop, Vancouver’s award-winning, innovative company.
Through the Gaze of a Navel is a performance in the form of a yoga class (that you can watch or attend) led by self-proclaimed pop psychology expert Emelia Symington Fedy. This real life account of Emelia’s spiritual exploits is irreverent but the darkness is real. From swimming with cosmic dolphins to sensory deprivation chambers, this is more than a mere kiss-and-tell of a life-long obsession, Through the Gaze of a Navel sets a spiritual quest in a hilarious context.
*Wear comfortable clothing and feel free to bring a yoga mat.
