Mandate

     Crow’s Theatre is a Toronto-based theatre company that

     focuses on the development, support, production, and touring of

     new plays that question accepted truths about our history, our

     times and the communities in which we live. Crow’s Theatre

     strives to stimulate, entertain, and challenge audiences in Toronto

     and across Canada

     Artistic Mission

• We support theatre that offers a contrarian or non-conformist point of view and impulse.
• We work with play texts, creation based-models, found sources and with unusual combinations of the three. Our work is rooted in the director's investigation of all facets of text, design and performance as indivisible elements of the whole.
• We develop new work through intensive dramaturgy and extended development, through remounts and touring.
• We debut important contemporary foreign work that is new to our audience and artists.
