Have you ever watched a musical and thought - what’s going on with those townspeople? Probably not. But we’re here to show you! Townsperson #3 follows the chaotic, dramatic and absurd lives of two townspeople as their kingdom slowly freezes over.
Inspired by the meticulously detailed and rarely seen backstories that ensemble members create, this is the unhinged musical theatre parody you didn’t know you needed. Please note: this is a play about a musical. There is no music. Because it’s a play.
Created by and starring Izad Etemadi (The Bidding War, Crow's Theatre; Frozen, The Grand), alongside Julia Pulo (SIX, Mirvish Productions; Ross Petty's Pantos: The Wizard of Oz and Robin Hood, Canadian Stage), Townsperson #3 was the winner of the Critics' Choice Award and the Audience Choice Award at the 2026 Hamilton Fringe Festival.
