L’AMOUR TELLE UNE CATHÉDRALE ENSEVELIE tells the tragic tale of a son who journeys across the ocean to reunite with his mother in Canada. The haunting and spirited melodies in this intimate Franco-Haitian, opera-theatre-concert hybrid reveal the emotional impact of leaving, yearning, mourning, and hoping.

Writer and director Guy Régis Jr founded NOUS Théâtre in 2001 and has presented work across Haiti, France, Belgium, Hungary, the United States, Brazil, Italy, Togo, and the Congo. Composer and guitarist Amos Coulanges was born in Port-au-Prince and studied at the University of Ottawa before completing his musical training in Europe.

Théâtre français de Toronto (TfT) is a repertoire and creation company focused on representing and promoting Francophone culture. One of the first French theatre companies outside of Quebec, TfT has been showcasing the talent of French-speaking artists and theatre makers for over 50 years with passion, commitment, and innovation.
